I grew up living in Forest Hills and have always enjoyed a great sense of community within the neighborhood. It is one of the safest neighborhoods in New York City and therefore, it is a very family friendly. It is home to Forest Hills Stadium where concerts and events are hosted throughout the summer season. There are plenty of parks nearby for nature lovers and families with young children. There are plenty of grocery stores in the area and many options for dining out. Some of the best schools in New York City are within the area. Overall, Forest Hills is a place that I am proud to call home.
This Neighboor hood changed where do I even start you have openly racist people living here now despite the fact that this neighborhood is LGBTQIA+ I was harassed at work for being a member I don’t feel safe leaving the subway nothing but spoiled entitled rich white pride people it’s so annoying yes you will have openly racist people yes you will get annoying Karen’s 0/10 don’t move here!
In Forest Hills, there is a certain atmosphere present. Being neighbored by other neighborhoods with such rich culture Forest Hills may seem boring at first. It's typically a very quiet place despite being located in New York City. It's a great place to live because there are so many stores in a centralized strip making shopping for all you're everyday needs easy. There are also tons of choices when going out to eat ranging from Mexican cuisine to Italian to Chinese foods all on the same block.
