Albany is a fairly small town of commerce and logistics. We are currently seeing an uptick of restaurants and hotels which I believe will bring much needed revenue to our town. List of sites and attractions Albany has includes Cheehaw Zoo, Event Center, and National Park; Albany Museum of Art; Riverfront Park in downtown Albany; Riverfront Aquarium; and much more. Albany is also home to the historically black college, Albany State University.
I believe Albany has much to offer for those who live in surrounding counties and will continue to grow and develop as time goes on.

Albany is a slow paced, friendly city that you grow to love. There are parks, museums, and other activities that take place throughout the year. My family have made several of the activities a part of our seasonal tradition. Things that I would like changed though are the routes of communication through the city and a more vibrant downtown. As it relates to communication, at times events and activities are not known about in a timely manner.

The city of Albany is where I grew up. There are really no attractions there for young people. In result of that, a lot of young people are getting involved in crimes. The crime rate is sort of high. If the city would get things for younger people to do, the crime rate could decrease. As for adults, some of the main factory plants moved away leaving lots of people without jobs struggling to live. If the city could get more jobs, it would make living there a lot better for adults.
