This is a very good safe place to live! It's a good environment for anyone growing up, lots of parks/recreational areas nearby.

There aren't that many options, but Aliso Viejo is a rather small area in general, so for its size I would say it has some good options. I really enjoy the new juice bar, Nectar, located in the Town Center. A a great restaurant (also in Town Center) is called Native Foods, and it's a completely vegan restaurant (I'm vegetarian, but my meat-eating friends love it too)! There are also a couple Thai places, a Japanese restaurant or two, Panera Bread, some fast food joints, and then places like Whole Foods as well.

There is great weather here! It's sunny most of the time, but a nice sunny rather than too hot (except sometimes it gets hot, especially if it's near the summer months). The only downside is that it very rarely rains, which I suppose is nice but at the same time we're in a basically constant state of drought. It does get a bit chilly at night and sometimes it gets pretty windy, but in general we have a very mild, pleasant climate.
