This small town has a great community. I love the fact that they have a ton of gatherings that involve the town, and neighboring communities. There are a ton of resources around for low income families or individuals. The town feels safe and there are tons of kids around to play. Right on main street there is a small shopping mall that gives a person the "old days" feel but a bit more modern.
In my opinion, every town can use some improvement. While, Amboy is a great town (especially to raise a family or have a country home), it could use more activities for the children and a bigger library with every day access. Technology seems to be very popular in schools today and unfortunately not every kid has a home with internet access. If there were to be a library this would help out with this issue while also providing kids a safe place to go and fill their minds with knowledge.
