A very good sense of community with various fairground events throughout the year. However, I would enjoy a growth in the number of locally-owned businesses and eateries.

In my experience in living in Angleton I would say it is a mostly peaceful place. The population is at a pretty good number somewhere around 18 to 20 plus thousand people. The crime rate is pretty low compared to most places I have been to or visited in my life. Overall I believe that I would choose Angleton again if I was asked to pick a place to live because its just a nice easy going city with friendly people and should see future population increase due to new job opportunities opening up in the surrounding areas.

The are some neighborhoods where the lawn space is very tight but those neighbors, everyone is friends. There are also larger lawns you can get inside of city limits. Most of the houses look different and if they have any similarities, the outside is changed so not every house looks the same.
