There is a variety of houses most having garage doors, big lawns and are located within a goo distance of each other. There is not an overcrowding of house in Anoka, though there are many apartment buildings present. Some vacant properties exist but not many.

It definitely is a good place to start, much better than nothing, and it has the basic necessities while providing enough space for freedom and management of clutter and multiple bodies in a home.

In the winter the weather is unpredictable since it an up north state, most winters we get quite a bit of snow and it can get very cold into the negative teens so you have to be prepared to learn how to deal with the weather. Though in the summer the weather can get up to the 100's and it is nice to have the 10,000 lakes and be able to swim often.
