Augusta is a unique city. The graduate school, Augusta University, has a rich academic history dating back to the 1940's, when my grandfather attending medical school. The city itself continues to be transitional and there are activities for all types of people with varying interests. The Masters brings the city revenue and hype which remains a positive historic event here. Augusta continues to build commercial and residential building with more shopping too!

Augusta is a fairly decent place to live. I moved here for college and currently live in university housing so the part of town I'm on is not the best but I make do with my surroundings. Augusta has a lot to offer as far as food and diversity, especially in the downtown area. I enjoy exploring new places and I seem to learn something new about Augusta everyday!

The area I live in includes Augusta and its suburbs. There are always community events and concerts in the park and theater productions with the local organizations. Numerous restaurants and hometown businesses give the area a lively feel compared to less active places in America. I could not have chosen a better place to live. In the future, the suburb area will expand to include more homes and places for community events. Downtown is also currently beign refurbished while activists support the local history. There's always something to do here.
