I live and work in this town and the one thing I can say about is it's definitely peculiar. And over priced. It's right on the lake, so it's hard to find a place to rent that usnt ridiculously expensive, although there are some hidden gems like the place we live. Our landlord is a sweet older lady who let us stay with our two dogs, required no security deposit and no lease! It's definitely an interesting town if you take the time to find all of its hidden quirks, but the people can be pretentious and overbearing. I wouldn't say it's a place people aspire to live, more like a place people get sucked into!

I love Buffalo and plan to live here for the rest of my life. There are many beautiful places to visit in the area and many activities always open and available to try.

I feel safe in the town I live in New York. There is rarely any crime you hear about and it's pretty well taken care of by the police force when you do find out about it.
