Benton Harbor can be a nice little city if the residents would take more pride in it. I was born and raised here and I have seen it while it was still at its best and now at what I would believe to be its worst. There are nice homes here but there are also a lot of run down homes here. The city does seem to be trying to revive the city and clean it up as far as tearing down abandoned houses and buildings and bringing in new business to the city. I would like to see more things for the youth to do here though. Besides the boys and girls club, there is really nothing else for the youth to do within the city. I just believe if the residents take as much pride in the city as the surrounding cities does, it would be a much better place to live.

I have lived in Benton Harbor all my life and I saw businesses come and go into me Benton Harbor is in a recession. And if I had a chance to do something for my community I will bring more businesses here and keep it here for my neighbors of the community of Benton are what have a better job, more money and somewhere they can just plant their feet and stated forever.
