Charlotte has become overwhelmed with coportate businesses. There are still a few thriving small businesses, but many are unable to keep their doors open. Charlotte has made the switch to joining corporate America. We have almost every fast food stop available and many convience stories for such a small town. Bringing back the small town life would be much more suitable for the area.

There are a few local jobs, but for the youth in the area employment is singlarly the chain store and fast food venues. It is hard to have a living wage unless you are settled into a career.
