I have lived in Bethlehem for 25 years. My parents grew up here and so did their parents. Bethlehem is filled with history, from the steel factory, to the star of Bethlehem, to the oldest bookstore in the US which resides on Main downtown. There are many new upcoming attractions like the casino, event center and so much more. It truly a beautiful place to live during any season of the year.

Bethlehem is small town with a city like feel. I moved there about five years ago and I was able to adjust pretty quickly to the town. I love how diverse the community is and how family friendly it is. The only down side is public transportation. When I fist moved didn't have a car so had to rely on busses. Busses are not always available and usually have to wait hours when they are. Other than that, its a great town.

Living here basically my whole life it does have a special place in my heart. I enjoy the small city feel while still having many activities to participate in. After going away to college and coming back, however, I see that the area is not what it once was. I hear of more crime and the new neighbors that have moved in are not as friendly or personable as the last tenants. While there is construction going on to help build up the near by middle school it seems that the rest of the city isn't taking many strides forward.
