The small, southern town of Beulaville, North Carolina has been my home for the past 20 years. I'll be honest and say that if I had to choose between living in Beulaville or living in Florence, Italy, I'd definitely choose Florence. Yet there is something about my town that will always hold a special place in my heart. Beulaville is a quiet, peaceful town. The people are friendly and willing to help out anyone in need. Local businesses really care about their customers. Though there is not much to see in Beulaville, there is a whole lot to feel. One can find peace as they look at a sunset hovering over the tops of trees, joy in seeing children playing in the park, and happiness in sitting on a front porch with neighbors. Beulaville is and will always be my hometown.
