The seasons here are like your typical ones. In the summer it is hot. It may reach as high as 100 degrees Fahrenheit although it is not common. Spring and fall are breezy and winter is very cold. Living in a mountainous area, makes it prone to heavy snowfall in the winter which make it hard to go anywhere. Especially living in a small town where roads cleanings don't get done for a while and power outages last longer than the usual.

This town is a very quiet town for families to settle down in and retire. I would choose to live here because it is a safe place for a child to grow and play and there are no worries here that someone will be kidnapped. People who live here are very nice to each other but the schooling needs improvement. Although there is not much to do or see it is a town I recommend for folks who choose to live a quiet life undisturbed.

This area as a landscape is quite beautiful, though the people living here are not. My experience ever since I was young has always been poor. The general adult populace consists of a insipid atmosphere. This only adds to the oblivion the town becomes after 6 o'clock. With nothing to do, the teenage population is plagued with underage drinking, drug abuse, and bullying. Do not raise a child here
