This is a quaint town. It is very family oriented. I enjoy the atmosphere of Blue Springs, Missouri. The area has great recreational parks and also has museums and other educational venues. I would rate this town 4.0 out of 5 starts. It has a awesome environment for culture and a great variety of restaurants. Blue Springs also had a variety of Churches for those interested in pursuing a religious environment. I have been in Blue Springs Mo. for approximately 10 years and have had a very excellent experience. We have not had any unfortunate events and found this town to be very friendly and accommodating. I would encourage people that were looking for a town to raise a family to definitely consider this town to be one to be at the top of your list.

Although I would not chose to live here again, or after I move out it is a very good area. There is little to no crime rate and the location is perfect; It's within driving distance to the city but does not contain the traffic the city comes with. Also it is only 15 minutes within the Chiefs and Royals stadiums which is convenient if your looking for something family friendly and fun to do! I see this area moving in a good directions for future circumstances becasue the people work together in making the area a good place to live and I don't see that stopping any time soon.

The experience on Walnut Street is pretty average. The neighbors are nice but are to themselves most of the time. All of my connecting neighbors have dogs, including me, so there is a lot of noise as far as dogs barking at each other every day. Walnut Street is apart of the Historical District of Blue Springs; so, the atmosphere is more interesting and has a little more beauty than the surrounding neighborhoods. If I had a choice to live here or live somewhere else, I would say probably live somewhere else if money was more readily available. But other than money, I believe Walnut Street is a pretty okay place to live for a small family.
