Bountiful may not be full of night-life, but it is a beautiful place to settle down. It is a great place for families, with several really great schools from elementary to high school that offer great opportunities for children and teens. Hiking trails are just minutes away, so you are never too far from nature and wildlife. Then if you feel like going to the city, you are only ever 30 minutes from Salt Lake City or Farmington to go shopping with friends at the open-concept malls. Bountiful also has a few great parks to visit to play with your dogs or family. The streets are always safe, and your neighbors are always friendly and up for conversation. We walk all the time, and each street has beautiful houses and the view from the mountainside is like no other.
Bountiful is a wonderful area to live. I am partial because I grew up here but the neighborhoods are so safe with awesome hiking trails nearby. My dogs love it!
I have lived in Bountiful for five years now. The city is well organized with snow plows being on top of snowfall and roads being well maintained. City events are not well advertized though making it difficult to connect to the city as a whole.
Bountiful is a nice place to live for families young and old. It is a suburb not far from Downtown Salt Lake City, Utah. There are many people who live here and it seems that a lot do because the streets on weekends are very busy. But, on days such as Sunday it can seem like a sleepy town in the evenings. There always seems to be a lot of coming and going around the city, especially in the commercial areas.
Bountiful is a modest suburban area north of Salt Lake City, UT. It has local gems, like Blacksmith Ice Cream and the views near Bountiful Temple. This city is a perfect place for families, young adults, and those who prefer the quieter, suburban lifestyle. Bountiful is mountain-side, with breathtaking views, hikes, waterfalls, golf-courses, canyons, and more.
If I could change something about Bountiful, it would be its variety in food and culture. I would love to see more influences from around the world when it comes to socio-economic aspects in town.

A very close and supportive community. Most people know each other, which makes for a lot of social gatherings. Great restaurants, gyms, stores, and activities throughout the city.
I love it, great stores and has everything that you can need, also affordable place to live. I have loved living around Bountiful.
Great family friendly location, excellent job opportunities, and close proximity to downtown Salt Lake City. Public transportation isn't great, but does exist. Great place to raise a family - schools, jobs, and amenities are extremely helpful and available for families and children.
I grew up in bountiful and it has never disappointed me. Everyone is so friendly and the community looks out for each other.
I grew up there since I was 8 as a Hispanic, Christian, girl. Overall a great city lots of shops in bountiful or a city over and if you want something fancy you can drive 15 min to salt lake. But TOO MANY MORMONS. There is one Christian church and literally a Mormon church every block. I remember growing up and all my friend were so brainwashed. I had some friends from church that were Christian. But from school, I had ONE catholic friend and everyone else was Mormon. It gets kind of annoying. And sometimes the neighbors can be extremely nosey. Diversity sucks too, I knew ZERO black people and ONE Indian girl but that was it.
Bountiful is a pretty great place to live. We are 20 minutes from downtown Salt Lake City, home of the Utah Jazz and the 2002 Winter Olympics. We are diverse in our socioeconomics and have a strong sense of community. This is seen through the variety of community events that are held; Annual Coats for Kids Car Show, Top of Utah race through, elite farmers market, Handcarts days, the precursor to Utah's Pioneer day celebrations.
A great place for kids to grow up, so long as those kids are white, Christian and straight. Davis school district has gotten into scandal over scandal because of the overt racism and homophobia they let take place in their schools. A lot of nosy neighbors and “keeping up with the Jones’”, all in the name of community. Close to the city and lots of job opportunities, but everyone that grows up here either gets out as soon as they can, or dies here.
Bountiful is the perfect city for people who want to live close to the city, and in range of a good community. I have gone to school here, and lived here for almost 2 decades. Overall this town does not disappoint.
Bountiful is very safe. However, they keep building more and more housing and not anything to do. So a bunch of people move in, but have nothing to do.
Great place to live without the hustle and bustle of the city while only a short drive to downtown SLC.
I really enjoy living here because there is always something going on, you can always find a food truck meet-up around the corner, or some sort of gathering. There is a strong sense of love here.
Bountiful is a very safe place to live. Most residents I have come in contact with are friendly and respectful. It is a great home for families large and small. Bountiful is close to many essential spots and you will find you could often walk to work, school, the grocery store, the library and recreational parks. I love living in Bountiful!
