I'll try to talk about Brickstone Brewery from a guest's point of view. The restaurant/brewery has great beer specials throughout the week which brings the company a majority of their business. The beer is great! The food is also pretty good, but if you saw the cleanliness of the kitchen you wouldn't want to eat there. They definitely do not follow health code regulations, for example, no dates on any of the food on the prep line.

Grapes & Hops brings its own unique twist to a bar. It's like if a coffee shop only served wine and beer. It's very relaxing with a very comfortable at home feeling. The wine and craft beer selection is phenomenal! They also serve cheese platters. The owner is very nice as well.

This review is about Grapes & Hops. It is a new local wine and craft beer "restaurant." I'm not sure if restaurant is the right word for it. They serve cheese platters but there is no kitchen. I also wouldn't call it a bar either. It has very comfortable and modern atmosphere. When you walk in, you immediately feel at home and relaxed, almost like a coffee shop. They have an excellent selection of wine, and craft beers on tap. They also host entertainment and have a comedy open mic every third Thursday of the month!

From what I've discovered living in this area is that companies and employees don't take the job seriously. Employees call off constantly and when they do work, they don't put in their full effort. The companies don't value the rare employees that do put in a hard days work and go above and beyond. The mentality seems to be that everyone can be replaced, resulting with high turnover rates. I currently worked at Brickstone Brewery, awesome place to enjoy a beer, however, a terrible place to work. They intentionally schedule to many servers so that when servers call off due to hangovers or whatever excuse they may have, then they still have enough servers to cover the shift. Which works supposedly in theory, however, when all the servers do show up they send the new servers home and keep the veterans on the schedule. This allows the veterans to take advantage of the system and keeps the new servers from having consistent or any hours at all.
