This town in the heart of Minnesota has that big-small town feel everyone seems to search for. It's populated enough to go DO things and it's small enough to not feel overwhelmed by the constant rush of life. Plus, lakes.

Brainerd is a great family friendly town to live and has lot of parks and recreational things to do all year long. There is a lot of opportunities for health and fitness as they have several co-op grocery stores in the area and and lots of fitness activities including an extensive trail system.

I love living in the Brainerd Lakes Area. It is the most amazing place in the summer to be on the lake and spending time with friends. Fall and winter are also very beautiful. I went to a great high school and I even got to participate in a program called PSEO. Where I got to attend community college and graduated high school with a two year college degree. I wouldn't change growing up in the Brainerd area for anything.
