Overall I like the weather. I get to experience all four seasons. We have pretty strong winters, which often includes school cancellations and lots of warm layered clothing! In the summer it gets just as hot and humid, which requires central AC and shorts daily.

Almost all transportation is done in cars. Public busses are used for people who work in the city, but mainly people use their own personal vehicles to get places. Besides walking for exercise, walking is not a mode of transportation since everything is miles away.

Most people are farmers here. The overall job outlook is dim. Many businesses have gone out of business recently. The top employers would probably be the grocery stores and the school district.
