Bryson is a nice little town with beautiful scenery. It is a tourist area which is great for the local economy during the spring, summer and fall seasons. However, due to the intense focus on tourism the cost of living (except housing) is very high. It would be nice to see more reasonable prices all year in order to support local year-long economy and opportunity for residents. In addition, they would be able to appeal to a much larger market, especially to local and tourist Millennials if they began to modernize activities, shops & expand to provide healthy & organic options.

I love the small town feel of Bryson City, NC and there are a lot of good people that call this home. One thing I would change is the services available to those who suffer from mental illness. There is a big lack in my community and the United States as a whole and that is one thing I would like to see change.
