Buckhannon is a nice small, quiet town. Not alot of job opportunity and real estate is terrible. Nice friendly community!

The majority of options we have are fast food. However we have two Mexican restaurants at one point in time we had three. Other restaurants include CJ Maggie's which is over priced for the quality of food and service. We also have a Hillbilly Grill but you have to drive far to get it on a one lane road and I am not sure how many people even know it exits. Though the city has started to expand we now have a Taco Bell and Buffalo Wild Wings. I am not sure about night life since I am under the age but I believe we have two bars in town. Your best bet for food is to make it or if you want to have a date night just drive to Clarksburg, WV.

Besides Walmart, Kroger, Dollar General, and Dollar tree we have mostly mom and pop stores along main street. Walmart is the most used I believe. Most clothes shopping is either in Goody's or you drive the thirty minutes to the mall. We are a small town.
