I love that the town is continuing to develop and become a larger community. I love the history behind the city and all of the activities to participate in.
Burlington is a unique historic district that I have enjoyed living in. The community is small but is just on the outskirts on more populated cities like Covington and even Cincinnati across the river. This town is filled with small businesses and restaurants that I love supporting.
Coming from Columbia, MD this town does seem a bit sparse. There is a decent sized area with restaurants and shops but nothing really unique. The job market is okay if you don't mind working a lower paying warehouse type job like Amazon. I hated Amazon because they have tore through most of the community as seasonal employees and most can't last there more than a 3 month term because it is physically exhausting. They charge a lot for rent but the starting pay is low because your in KY. It's a little too conservative republican for me. I'm most likely going back home because of boredom and a lack of a decent job opportunity that pays more than 15.00. Making friends here isn't that easy but it's relatively safe. England Idlewild park is nice. I'm really not sure when the Amazon airfield opens where everyone working there will live as there isn't enough housing..apartments are in short supply. People drive horribly here and there are accidents almost every day so be careful.
Burlington is a small town located in northern Ky, right by Florence, Union, and Hebron. Although it is a small town, the Boone County court houses are located here, there are a good amount of restaurants, and it’s well populated. This town also had a good amount of diversity. Burlington also has a good school system with the elementary, middle, and high school. Also with a vocational school very close.
Wonderful place to be raised or to raise your family. Lots of local history and close to Cincinnati Oh and other surrrounding areas.
Can easily access anything you need in no time. Very close to interstate, food, schools, and shopping.
I have not had too many bad experiences in Burlington. It is a very fast growing community, and Burlington does a lot of work to make sure that our lives are as safe and convenient as possible. There is a lot of road construction right outside of my neighborhood, this shows that we see Burlington is growing in population, and our government is making our roads more adaptive to our growing community. Another reason I really enjoy Burlington is that neighboring communities such as Florence are growing as well. Amazon is opening up thousands of new jobs at the airport, and there are a multitude of service opportunities inside and right around Burlington. I currently volunteer at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Florence Kentucky. I heard about this opportunity through my neighbor, and I would have never been where I am today without the tight nit culture of my neighborhood.
Burlington is close to many popular attractions in Northern Kentucky, but there's a bit of violence. The neighborhoods are somewhat unorganized and dirty.
Burlington is a great place to live. It has quiet nieghborhoods, and a big library system. Things like grocery stores, gas stations, and restaurants are never far away.
I love Burlington! It is the best mix between city and country. You are close to everything, which is so convenient. This is my favorite place in NKY by far.
Not a bad place to live, but also not the best. There isn't much to do here but being so close to Cincinnati and Florence is great. Also not diverse at all and the people aren't very welcoming. I have seen quite a bit of racism and homophobia from the people who live here which is upsetting.
I personally would not stay here in Burlington if I had a choice, but I can see how the smaller and quiet town feel can appeal to people.

I love Burlington! Everyone knows everyone because most of us grew up going to the same elementary school and now potentially high school!
Burlington is a small city in Northern Kentucky. If you are looking for a quiet, homey, and comfortble place to live, Burlington is for you.
A safe and homey community. Gave it 4 stars instead of 5 just because I wish there was more to do within Burlington.
A family friendly, bustling town ever growing. The close proximity to the airport and downtown Cincinnati allow for quick travel access and inner city activities without the noise and traffic. I spent over half my life here and would happily start a family of my own here.
Very nice atmosphere, friendly people. Close to the city, which is nice. The infrastructure is all pretty new, and it's growing very quickly.
Our town is beautifully small but within 10-15 miles of a few major cities. Very safe and cozy with a nice old style country feel to it.
