Charlotte is a thriving metropolis full of many fun things to do as well as a great university to attend( UNC Charlotte). I've been living in Charlotte for about five months now and it's been an adjustment compared to where my home is back in Asheboro. If your a student looking a university with a diverse setting both academically and socially, this is the university for you. UNC Charlotte offers many fascinating and rewarding fields that raise excitement and curiosity in regards to what a student may want to perceive as a career. As for the city in general I cannot speak for everyone, but the nightlife and variety of activities and places to go are numerous and filled with fun!

Charlotte is a large city filled with many shopping centers and good restaurants and bars. Since I'm Asian, I particularly love those Vietnamese restaurants. They make some of the best food I've ever had. Oh, and also those Vietnamese sandwich called Banh Mi, they are awesome and way better than here in Greensboro and High Point in North Carolina. Charlotte also has Carowinds and I enjoyed it a lot. Also, Charlotte has a huge mall! The one I went to was called SouthPark. I was walking around for about 2 hours and I still didn't cover the whole mall! Overall, its open landscape and spacious parks are beautiful to look at, especially in the spring and summer. It has a lot of trees as well, which can look really pretty with breezy winds. Whenever I feel like I just want to live in that place after visiting, I know that it is one of the best places to live.

I have been living in Charlotte for 15 years. I am from South Africa and really like the weather. Nothing can beat the Charlotte weather! When it show up north and all over the US, Charlotte is 63C! Also, it is located 3 hours from the beach and 2 and half hours from the mountains. There is so much to do around Charlotte. We have beautiful walking trails here and if you are in to hiking, this is the place for you. In addition, we have great restaurants here due to the diverse community that lives here. Raising a family, Charlotte will treat you well.!
