I have resided in Davie, Florida for well over 10 years. I have seen it develop from barren grassy fields into a tourist attraction for many visitors and a shopping euphoria for its residents. If there is ANYTHING you can think of...Davie, Florida (particularly on university drive) has it! Everything you need is literally on a long street filled with EVERY and anything ranging from grocery, clothing, electronic, vitamin, shoe, fabric and craft stores; plus many more! There is a downside however, since this is a popular shopping town, unfortunately traffic is HORRENDOUS. It can take you 15 minutes to drive three blocks. And the parking? Let's just says it's like a scene out of the hunger games... completely cut throat and intense as consumers scrimmage and scanvenge for a parking space.

I love my area! I'm so glad we moved here. It's safe, fun, and SUPER close to everything a person could possibly need! Restaurants, schools, shopping plazas, and more. I do not plan on moving anytime. It continues to grow and the population is a great mix of young families and college students. It's awesome for a young couple like myself and partner. We plan on raising our family here!

As someone who enjoys traveling and seeing different atmospheres, I've come to notice that my own backyard is one of the cleanest, friendliest and convenient neighborhoods I've been to. Davie is located in the center of action, so everything from beautiful beaches to parks are located within a short drive. Attending both public and private schools have showed me how amazing the school system in Davie truly is. There is barely any difference between the atmosphere and teaching experience in both schools.
