Housing at La Mirada: La Mirada is a very quiet place to live. The houses are nice and generally spacious.
    • 4
Public Services at La Mirada: The police are very responsive and present in this area to maintain a low crime level. The taxes in La Mirada are too high. In fact, the taxes in La Mirada are one of the highest tax rates in the state.
    • 5
Crime & Safety at La Mirada: La Mirada is a very low crime area. I am never concerned with the possibility of crime in the area and I feel safe while I go on walks or exercise in my neighborhood.
    • 4
Weather at La Mirada: The weather is typically warm and sunny. Like many other places in southern California, drought is a concern. My wardrobe mainly consists of jeans, shorts, exercise clothing, and light jackets. I do not have any heavy warm clothing because it is obsolete.

Employment at La Mirada: I feel like most of the people that live in La Mirada do not work in La Mirada. The major employer would be the school district.
