Weather at Westlake: It is not that great when it rains, since some sewers don't work.
    • 3
Food & Drink at Westlake: Either fast food o a buffet-looking restaurant is okay.
    • 1
Employment at Westlake: There are no jobs available.
    • 2
Employment at Hyde Park: People around here need jobs, including myself. The unemployment rate is bad and more avenues need to be created for people to get a job while pursuing a higher education. I've taken the right steps in order to get a better job like getting my BLS card and fire safety card but at times it's still not enough. Things need to change. The poor need a shot at rising above the low standards society tries to keep us.

Local Businesses at Hyde Park: There's a local burger joint on the corner of Florence and 8th Avenue, it's call Fresh and Meaty Burger. It's been around for about twenty-five years and everyone I know and or come across knows about this joint. The food is good and they get a lot of business. I love how they stay so local and ensure great food. Yes, you can get any and everything you need at this one place. A real satisfying meal for whatever you're in the mood for.
