The area in which I live has every store that I could ever need. If I need to run errands and get groceries, there are many grocery stores around. There are also stores like Target and Walmart where you can buy many items. There are many malls around and if you want to avoid the crowd at the mall, there are retail stores like Tilly's or Bath and Body close by. The food selection is endless. There is a Starbucks around almost every corner!

Lots of new developments and also more theft / higher crime rate. Horrible traffic. Lots of sex offenders around the neighborhood. Always keep an eye on your kids!

Mira Mesa is predominantly chain stores and restaurants. You will get a few family own Asian restaurants which is great. There is a high level of Asian influence in the super markets and restaurant selections. You never need to leave Mira Mesa to get any essentials. We have a Home Depot for tools, a Best Buy for electronics, a Smart and Final for bulk, a few department stores and plenty of eateries. Everything is very central. Mira Mesa also contains entertainment centers such as a movie theater, a bowling ally, and an ice rink.
