Employment: I am a student and I have a part time job in my school and I get minimum wage. I don't have the time for a full time job in this area so I wont be able to share my experience; nevertheless, I think there shouldn't be much of a difference compare to other cities. In the area that I live there are a great number of companies and I believe many of the residents have a work close to where they live. One company that have many locations in San Diego is Quallcomm. This company have many job opportunities for computer science graduates.

Food & Drink: Since I moved to this city I have visited a few restaurants. Generally speaking they are all okay yet chain restaurant in this area are not so well compare to other areas. For example I visited the Bjs and brewhouse which is a chain restaurant and I would differently say the quality of foods are not as good. I am not a drinker so I would not know any place for drinking.

Local Businesses: Overall, you can find almost everything in Mira Mesa San Diego. It is interesting that Qualcomm has many location in this area. Moreover, there are many shipping centers that provides a variety of supplements for residents. The only concern that I have is that the stores hours are not sufficient and the close early. In this area you could find many small businesses that are mostly computer related.

People: There's mainly a mixture of asians, mexicans and whites in this area. The friendliness of other people doesnt exist at all.

Transportation: There are bike lanes on almost every main street. The side walks are the main transportation for young teens who cannot drive yet, and the stores, and fast food places are usually less than 3 miles apart. The only traffic in Mira mesa is on the boulevard starting around 4 o'clock.
