I have been a resident here for 20 years. I think it is overpriced somewhat regarding real estate, but it is a relatively safe and clean place to live. It also has great food and is artistic and colorful. It promotes the best in cultural events. I helped to get the neighborhood library established in 2009 which is 2nd only to the main downtown library in resources and diverse educational offerings. It has an ambience in the air that makes one feel there is an angelic presence overlooking it. It has a colorful and beautiful landscape, generally.

Well because of gentrification prices of homes and apartments are rising which is causing a lot of problems for those who live off of minimum wage jobs and these people are pushed to the "ghettos" where it is unsafe to raise a family. The neighborhood is getting nicer but at a very large cost to the residents who grew up here and have lived her a long time.

There are cases of graffiti but it has gotten better. There used to be cases of breaking into cars but I haven't seen that as much now and sounds of fireworks going off randomly throughout the day. Although this is not a daily occurrence it does happen more often than I would like it to.
