I love Sherman Oaks. It is the perfect balance between "city life" and "suburbia" in Los Angeles. The community is a nice balance of families and young adults. The locals enjoy the accessible eateries, bars, plazas, shopping, and grocery stores sprinkled through out the city. Ventura Blvd is my personal favorite, filled with tons of positive, beautiful, hardworking people. It's nice to see people running in the morning and heading out for date night in the evening. I personally believe Sherman Oaks is one of the best cities to live in LA. Especially considering the cost of living, quality of living, location, and community amenities. That is why I have lived here for over 2 years now!

Great area, some places maybe sketchy but overall great place. Balboa park is a great place to exercise or spend time with the family. Awesome scenery!

I love my neighborhood, because it has new development. It doesn't necessarily have it right up the street but it is in the neighborhood, and I really like that. It is kinda quiet. There is always the guy driving fast with his car down the street, that pissed me off bad each time. What can you do though, I sit at home use the computer, and try to be as productive as possible. The neighborhood has old oak trees. I appreciate oak trees, and old things because of their importance sentimentally. Who woulda known it costs money to cut down a tree these days. But they are very important, think about it all that smog that we release. Atleast these portions of these trees help filter that. We might not see it but you bet its getting filtered as we site here in the day time.

Thank you
