Crime & Safety: I haven't experienced any crime in my time in San Jose. Because the city is so big, it is difficult to catch every robber and criminal, but the police force is very active and also very approachable.

Overall Experience: Overall, I am very happy that I moved here in 2004. Before I lived here, I lived in Anaheim. Therefore, I am used to the rush hours and the very busy traffic. Life is very fast-paced here, but that's the way that I like it. San Jose is in the heart of the Silicon Valley, so we have the latest technology at our fingertips. We also have very up-to-date fashion and a very lively community. The social, ethical, and economic diversity in San Jose is enormous. Even though San Jose is a pretty urban city, I think my neighborhood of Willow Glen has a nice suburban feel to it, away from the city life.

Housing: Horribly expensive. Way too pricey and over crowded
    • 3
Community: There's not a strong community in the sense that everyone knows each other. Not everyone is nice; there are plenty of crabby people in Willow Glen and San Jose. There are also nice people. Its 50/50

Crime & Safety: I have not had any bad experiences with crime. We havent had a break in at our house or our cars, no one has been mugged that I know of, so its all good for me and my friends. Other people might have something different to say but I feel safe.
