New York City is a fantastic place to be in a graduate program. There are so many resources at your fingertips, and the diverse population of the city means that you have the opportunities to work with people from many different backgrounds. Anything you could want you can find here. The only drawback is how expensive it is! But you can make it work and still take advantage of all it has to offer.

I love that the stores stay open late for night accessibility. The night life is very exciting and you can always expect something new during every encounter. The neighborhoods are very friendly, but i hate the public schools we need to better them! I had to take my son out of a public and charter school he now attends Catholic school in which i love.

Yes NYC is loud, sidewalks are congested, people are rude, trash is on curbs but beyond the everyday wear and tear of the city there is the excitement and endless possibility no other city offers. Everyone comes here because they know here is where dreams come true. If you can envision it, NYC can help you achieve it!
