Climb Enchanted Rock! Legend goes that Native American warriors were killed there and still haunt the rock along with a tribe princess. Whether the ghosts are there is up for debate, but there’s no question about the majestic beauty of the granite formation that peaks 425 feet above the ground. Take in the view at the Tower of the Americas. Talk about a tourist attraction. The tower was built in 1968 as part of the World’s Fair and remains a big destination for out-of-towners. But don’t knock it ’til you’ve tried it. Take in an unmatched view of the city from the 750-foot tower. Go the family-friendly route by purchasing a ticket to the observation deck admission includes access to the kid favorite Skies over Texas 4D ride or impress a date at the top floor Chart House Restaurant. Our favorite way to experience the Tower’s charms, with a drink in hand. The bar’s happy hour prices rival the stunning view.

San Antonio is a city that prides itself on the Alamo, the wondrous River walk, the passionate Mexican culture and of course, the San Antonio Spurs! For newcomers to the Southwest there may be some culture shock. There is not much diversity in eating places. If you crave "exotic" foods, be ready to search. The nightlife here is less diverse than the food options. Many people travel away to have a great time. Some of the favorable things about San Antonio are: cost of living, family friendly environment, and real estate. Owning your first home is easier than many cities in the USA. Moreover, San Antonio has a beautiful rotation of family events every week! Sea World, Six flags, golfing, natural parks, and a zoo are just a few things that make this an adventurous city for young families. Add all of this in with the amazing cost of living and warm weather and you have a city perfect for individuals and families striving for the "American Dream" with a lime twist!

The are activities that range from free to quite expensive. All you need is too pick an activity and you will find joy in San Antonio. The food is authentic and diverse, as are the people of this great city. You can grab options such as breakfast tacos, tasty BBQ or Brazilian meats all within footsteps of each other. The many art museums will fill up your fine art enthusiast's time. The adventure lover in your group can find thrills at Six Flags, Sea World, or Morgan's Wonderland to name a few. There are sports and concerts galore. The opportunities for fun in "Military City" are endless. San Antonio has something for everyone, and is sure to please all ages.
