Living in this area has been a great experience for me and my family. We moved here a few years ago so we could be closer to my dad's work and our home church. The people here are very nice but somewhat reserved and keep to themselves. The general atmosphere of my neighborhood is safe, well kept, and friendly. The surrounding area has a good mix of suburban neighborhoods, natural parks, and downtown areas. The best part about living where I live is that the beach, the mountains, and San Fransisco are all close by!

It's a beautiful area catered to young families with access to a library, playground, pool, big field, elementary/middle school and lots of dining options. It's always nice to take a stroll around the neighborhood because of all the lovely trees and the wonderful feel of the place. I love being able to walk to the store if I ever missed something- it's all very convenient. In addition, it's a very safe place and situated well between different highways where the drives to SF or Santa Cruz are never too bad. Oh, and if you're a football fan (or concert lover), the Levi's stadium is just a 20-minute walk (maybe shorter) depending where you live.

Santa Clara is a big neighborhood with a diverse population. It's very family oriented, with a great education system, and lots of new tech workers coming in every year. I live on El Camino, which has a lot of Korean and Indian businesses. I would love to raise a family here, but not live here as a single person. The nightlife isn't great, and I wouldn't recommend coming here to friends in their 20s.

Average incomes are high, house values keep rising with the influx of tech workers. It may be difficult for young singles to sustain a life here.
