Crime & Safety at Santa Clara: Very low crime rate here. I don't feel like I'll be robbed or mugged walking around at night. My house feels like it's in a safe neighborhood. My car has never been broken into. We haven't heard much in terms of gangs or delinquents, either.

Overall Experience at Santa Clara: Santa Clara is a big neighborhood with a diverse population. It's very family oriented, with a great education system, and lots of new tech workers coming in every year. I live on El Camino, which has a lot of Korean and Indian businesses. I would love to raise a family here, but not live here as a single person. The nightlife isn't great, and I wouldn't recommend coming here to friends in their 20s.

Average incomes are high, house values keep rising with the influx of tech workers. It may be difficult for young singles to sustain a life here.

Crime & Safety at Santa Clara: The overall safety in the neighborhood is really

    Good.

Overall Experience at Santa Clara: The area is nice, peaceful and quiet in general. Only trouble is now that the stadium

Is here the cost of rent is much higher and the traffic is much worse.

Crime & Safety at Santa Clara: Not only because of the police station close by but also because of the family-oriented feel of the community, I feel very safe and am never scared to go out walking alone.
