I've been living in Tempe for a little while now and I have had nothing but a positive experience. There is this "college town" vibe you get while you're here which is great. You see a lot of people out and about either longboarding, walking, or riding their bikes. The nightlife is great as well! The college is super close to one of the businesses stripes called "Mill Ave" and its always so lively. If you're looking for a family friendly, active city to live in I would recommend this city for sure!

It's a vibrant area with plenty of restaurant and entertainment options, and a good diverse mix of residents. The location is conveniently close to ASU and within reasonable distance to downtown. And while there is plenty to do, the neighborhoods are quiet and and peaceful. There seems to be a turnover beginning as many older residents sell, with lots of young families choosing to make the area their home. I would move here again in a heartbeat!

I love Tempe. The atmosphere here is great! I enjoy how large it is but how small it feels sometimes. I can go to the grocery store and run into someone I know, as well as go downtown and not know a single person. I grew up in a small town and was a bit culture shocked when I moved to the area but I absolutely love it now. I've only lived here for 3 years and I consider Tempe, Arizona home over Langdon, North Dakota. Everyone is so much more open minded than in a small town. I can express myself in a way I never could have in podunk North Dakota.
