Crime & Safety at Tempe: They only problem with safety in the area is related to traffic signs and drivers in the neighborhood. I do not think a heavier police presence will resolve the concern. Overall, the criminal activity seems infrequent and what occurs is responded to promptly.

Overall Experience at Tempe: There is nothing that inspires me in my neighborhood. I don't have a community nor feel that there are communities where I would become a member. I want to be around progressive minds that want to make a difference. I think that there is a lot of complacency and privilege in my neighborhood that makes it shallow and materialistic. I want to see more community involvement in enhancing the multi-cultural initiatives of students, entrepreneurs, and small-business owners. In general, the operations of these communities seem orchestrated by a larger institution and should be more independently contracted.

Crime & Safety at Tempe: The Tempe area that I live in is not so great, but it isn't bad either. There isn't much 'crime' going on. It's not like I hear gun shots and see criminals; I actually rarely to never see these situations happen. However, the area I do live in is kind of messy. It's pretty run down. I also see a lot of homeless people at the street lights near my neighborhood. As of police officers, I see police cars every day just driving on main roads near my home.

Overall Experience at Tempe: The house that I live in now is just convenient for school. It's very do-able. It isn't a place I would choose to live in again, but it's stable, affordable and close to the ASU campus. I am only a college student, grand and expensive isn't really in my perspective right now.

Crime & Safety at Tempe: Obviously living in Tempe, COPS ARE EVERYWHERE. But that does not mean everyone gets in trouble for their actions that should.
