Currently I live in Turlock, this is an amazing town to raise a family, the safety is A+ and the community is so small every time you go out there is an opportunity to bump into someone that you know. There is a farmers market through the summer and beginning of fall that offers fresh local food. The only thing I would say needs to be changed in this community is the homeless population, there is quite a few and I believe more shelters and help centers should be opened up for them to turn to. Other than that it is a wonderful community for all!

Turlock is a small town in CA, but we have everything we need next to each other, especially the university, CSU Stanislaus. Many generations have attended this University because of the cost of tuition, but before students ended the first semester, they fell in love with the school and faculties. Also, geographically, the town is much safer from the common natural disaster, particularly from the raining. Another, most popular places are located with short distance to visit the famous tourisms like San Francisco for sports games, Santa Cruz for surfing, Yosemite national park for hiking or camping, Reno for skiing, etc. The town is small, but it has designed very attractively to students. Therefore, Turlock is the perfect place for any students who accomplish their goal with peaceful and safety environment.

It is a very nice area with great neighbors. The houses are beautiful, and there are a few empty lots still. Houses are still actively being built in my neighborhood. I am not too sure about affordability, seeing as I live with my parents, but everyone seems to be happy. There are some friendly neighborhood cats as well, even the cats like it here!
