The town of White Plains is actually quite calm. I grew up in a small part of town where there was quite a bit of ruckus. You name it, its probably happened, but just be a little realistic of your imagination. The neighborhood has sketchy points here and there but most people in the town are reserved, calm, and actively friendly. I met many neighbors who were absolutely inviting. The city area is bustling and effort is put into keeping the streets clean. I wouldn't say its perfect but the town is done rather satisfying. Living around these neighborhoods are average, the nights are quiet, and jobs are average in obtaining. Look around and there's a great deal of diversity. You will meet many interesting restaurant owners and staff members across White Plains

Very modern with a wide variety of restaurants, bars, and malls. But wait theres more, not only does White Plains offer various things to do in the city, there is a huge portion of wildlife and outdoor activities offered. There are dozens of public parks with fields, play grounds for kids of all ages, and hiking routes. Public school system is offered to all residents for free including free school transportation from grades k-8. White Plains has also been under construction for the rapid population growth.

Basically, there is this one street called Mamaroneck Avenue, and all the bars and shops and restaurants are on it, it is so convenient, because you don't even need your car. My sister, who is 25 years of age, goes bar-hopping there with her friends all the time. Well, not all the time, you know, just every once and while, but the point is, it's always an option. Some known places on the Ave are O'Connors Pub, Big Apple Smoothie, Buffalo Wild Wings, Italian Pavilion , they make amazing pizzas, and also 16 Handles, which as a matter of fact just opened a couple of days ago and I have been there twice already, their froyo (frozen yogurt) is fantastic!
