Crime & Safety at Southeast: Every city has dangerous areas. They are shifting into different parts of the city but public safety seems to do a good job keeping it at bay. Overall, you have a mix of nice cops and arrogant cops.
    • 3
Overall Experience at Southeast: Its a small big city, second largest in the state. It has a lot of cool niches popping up especially nearing the downtown area. A lot to be explored.
    • 2
Overall Experience at Southeast: A lot of gangs, gang violence, young children getting shot
    • 3
Crime & Safety at Main South: Like I said, I like near the downtown area so it can be intimidating for outsiders who are not used to urban areas. But where I live is not comparable to the deep parts of the CBD so there's no crimes or frequent gangs. It is a college city so it's relatively safe.
    • 3
Overall Experience at Main South: I prefer a place with higher population density because I do enjoy a city setting for the agglomeration of stores and shops. I do not live in the nicest part of Worcester so I can't give a review based on the best neighborhoods but I can say that I live near the downtown area (which may be more ruckus) and it's not bad at all. I must say that Worcester is a college city--so many colleges around, it makes for a better school system despite underfunding.
